Trung's birthday dinner at Xinh Bistro.

All you can eat + all you can drink = a total disaster.

Thanks to a fantastic month for Old Navy, we got to grub on some free breakfast this morning. Our training class was in the Old Navy building today- the was the first time I had been. Cute building & a not so exciting class. =\ Blah Wednesday.

Post #314- Let the Festivities Begin!

Birthday dinner the the fam + B at R&G Lounge.

I've heard so much about the famous Salt & Pepper Crab at R&G, so when my mom asked where I wanted to go for my birthday dinner, R&G seemed like a logical choice. Was not disappointed at all! :) Delish!

Why isn't anything ringing a bell?

Mondays fly by so quickly that I don't remember what else I did today except work.

Lame, I know...sorry...

So much for a lazy Sunday!

Someone made me breakfast today....isn't that nice? :)

My sister and brother in law organized a birthday luncheon for my brother in law's Mom's 60th birthday today. We grubbed on some Chinese food, socialized, then headed back to (ugh) watch the niner game. We both ended up napping for a bit before getting up to get ready for a dinner we were attending.

Our friend invited us to a dinner event celebrating the 15th anniversary of the International Technology University, founded by one of his family's friends. It isn't very well known, but I found the history behind the family and the University itself very interesting. You can read about them- here. It was held at the Hyatt in Burlingame and turned out to be a bigger deal than we all expected. The dinner was fairly good for hotel food, and I was either really enjoying my food or really tired, because I blanked out and didn't take any pictures that night. The only thing I got we a picture of the cute dessert from B's Blackberry. Fail.

Was a good day today. :)

Post #311- Look Who Turns Two Today!

Happy Birthday Evan!!

My oldest cousin's baby boy turned two today. He celebrated his big day with a dinner party with family and friends. We enjoyed some yummy Japanese food for dinner accompanied with Evan running around saying "I love Mommy!". His newest obsession is Disney's Toy Story. He can sit there and rewatch the DVD he loves it so much!

After a sugar rush from brownies, oreos, and gummy worms, I met up with B and we went to Collin for drinks at Rickhouse. I missed Linda's birthday festivities tonight, but luckily a little while later they came out to meet us. :)

So I drove to work today and wore a dress since I wouldn't be riding on Muni. Stupid stupid decision. The weather man said no rain, but of course of alllllll days, he is wrong. Walked from one building to another in a dress & heels in the rain. Not so fun.

Luckily the rain cleared up by the end of the day and I stayed nice and dry. Went downtown after work in hopes of buying some new clothes....I WANTED to spend some money!!! However, the shopping gods were against me and I didn't find a single thing!!!! ARgh!!!

B and I tried the ramen spot by union square. We've attempted this place before, but didn't want to wait. Today we waited 30 minutes in the cold to have some Ramen, Tobiko, and Ahi Poke. It was very good, but I don't think I would wait that long for it again. Bummed around the rest of the night and B introduced me to a movie called "Clifford". No, not Clifford as in the Big Red Dog, but....another interesting character. Got some good laughs from it and then called it a night. :)
