Talk about corporate nonsense. 1 hour of my day went to training......training on how to use the new xerox machine/copier. Wow.

Twas a short weekend again...over way too fast. Was happy to chill and really do NOTHING.
Was a good Monday though, I was originally worried that squeezing fiscal week 1 (one of our businest) into 3 days was going to get crazy. Great view on the drive home...looks like June gloom is over...made me think...today was a good day. :)

What a GORGEOUS day today! The sun is finally out, the heat is starting to crank up....Summer's in the air!
Lunch at home, a few hours of reading in the sun with some coffee at Starbucks, and a late afternoon visit to the pool. (No, John's not dead...he likes sleeping on concrete)

Wasn't really all that impressed..maybe because of all the hype about it.

Great Friday! Surprisingly I was full of energy and blasted through the day.
Gave Lexi and bath and a wax after work. Wow she is sparkling!
Impromptu night out with Niko and JK. Talk about our (Niko & my) next GNO (which is WAY overdue by the way!), beer samplers, shots, and muchies = great way to end a busy week!
Happy Birthday Frank!

We got to sleep in a little bit today before heading off to our client's site.
Kind of gross that I took this picture in the bathroom, but funny because of the content. PA isn't nearly as germ-a-phobe as CA...none of the bathrooms have toilet seat covers and I guess this sign was the result of that. Gross!
Had my first official Philly Cheesesteak today....fatty, but so yummy! I could not WAIT to get home. Layover in Vegas made me kind of itch to go....
Got home around 11pm....KOed with the quickness.

Today we went into the office for a day at work. We were all feeling slightly.....off to say the least. After a pretty intense night last night, we had a short night...yummy dinner at Judy's on Cherry and an early bedtime.

City of Brotherhood? Eh...not so much. People at the airport were so grumpy!
Hopped onto a 645am flight and arrived in Philly at 5pm. Kind of weird to lose the whole day like that. I was traveling with my manager and director...and we didn't put the rest of the day to waste at all. Straight from the airport to the hotel, to a Reading Phillies game (minor league), to The Works for a few games of Quizzo, back to another bar for karaoke night, and finished off the night with a poker game. The Blue Moon was flowing all night, and we made it to bed around 2am. Talk about a productive night!

Followed with MORE eating at my cousin Eric's BBQ. It was good times and definitely good food! Slow cooked brisket, Pork Ribs, Sushi, Salad, Appetizers, and my favorite....Mom's Carrot Cake! Yumm...scarfed down lots of food before heading to the airport. It was really nice to see my family, it's been a while since I've seen most of them, especially my grandma. And it's amazing how fast Evan is growing up!! He already fits the Paul Frank t-shirt I got him for Christmas!
Until next time, SF. Thanks for a fantastic weekend!

I slept in this morning, and when I woke up, the house was empty! My family ditched me again. FML.
In reality, they just went to the Marina for facials (without me!)...my sister and mom came back refreshed and rejuvinated, and I,....I just woke up. We had a pizza lunch together and got to catch up with what has been going on lately...the usual. My sister and I ventured to Stonestown to pick up a card later in the afternoon, and boy has it changed! Seems like all the stores are going under and the stores that are remaining are random no name stores. I hope the economy starts to pick up because I would hate to see Stonestown turn into another Serramonte.

Got together with Lorens for dinner at Perbacco. We've decided that when I move home, we are going to be foodies and try new restaurants, dishes, and attempt the 7x7 100 Things to Eat in SF Before You Die list. #18 Salumi from Perbacco is now crossed off the list. Can't wait! :) Since it was a late dinner, we didn't really know what to do. Lorens brought an amazing Orin Swift Papillon wine to dinner, and after a few glasses of that, we were ready to tap out. We attempted to gather our second wind and headed over to Sip for a few drinks with the homies.
What a great Saturday. :)

You know....after taking into consideration how I felt today, I would MUCH rather be hungover at work. The queasy stomach, nauseousness, loss of appetite, and sleepiness continues. Many times I felt like I was going to hurl at my desk, but thankfully it didn't come down to that.I literally woke up from my "nap" at 9:20pm tonight. I dragged myself out of bed and over the boys for some dinner and was hoping for some babying. Niko and JK came up with a theory of what was wrong with me...but really...no, I'm certain that that's not the reason. hahaha.
Some leftover spagetthi, a dosage of Pepto, and hopping back into bed.... and I was feeling great! Let's hope it lasts.

Still having stomach issues...dunno what it is. It feels like an anxiety stomachache...but no, that can't be it because there's nothing I would be anxious about. Hmm...Late dinner again...lost another one to unemployment. Sucks, but I think it will be good for him- he's been wanting to explore other options.
Doesn't John look like a starving child hovered over that giant bowl of food?

I woke up today confused. The sunlight was streaming in and for some reason, it felt like a late Sunday morning. Unfortunately, it was an early Monday morning and I had to haul myself out of bed to get to work.Driving to work felt unsafe- I really think I was still drunk. Cmon..I blew a .13 last night before I passed out.
Somehow made it through the day and went back to the boys after work to nap. Random Wholesome Choice dinner and an early night in bed for me.

An early AM breakfast at Lucca Cafe and it was time to drop off my parents at the airport. Seemed like they were here for a long time since we did so much this weekend. They really like Irvine, so I'm sure they'll be back soon.
Pig & Vinh have been wanting a punching bag for a while now and since the Sunday paper had a Big 5 ad, we made a detour and picked one up. "How many people does it take to hang a punching bag?"SundayFunday at Jay & Syl's new place. Lakers won. Boo. Too many celebratory shots. WAY too many. Push ups for Speed = greatness. I was just too fast for John...

Later was my cousin Jordan's graduation dinner at Blue Water Grill. The fam got together and Pig came along with me. Funny times...congrats Jordan!
To continue the eventful night, Pig and I met up the cousins after dinner at my favorite spot, Mesa. Thanks to Jason being friends with the bartender, we loaded up on Greyhounds and Henn & 7s. After some conversations and a few drinks, we all called it a night. The night was still young and we went over to Niko & Daniel's new pad to celebrate Daniel's sister's graduation. By the time we got there, they had blown through a few bottles. After catching up and seeing Andy christen their new carpet, called it a night again and headed home.

We had a working lunch scheduled for our quarterly update meetings. Food coma inducing lunch- meatloaf, mashed potatoes, veggies, and chocolate chip cookies!
Around 4:30pm, I got the funniest phone call. My Dad called me and invited me to Happy Hour at YardHouse! Turns out my parents and aunt were taking advantage of the YardHouse happy hour with my cousins. They are in town for my cousin's UCI graduation and decided to get some drinks before dinner. So random.
Met up with the homies after dinner and seemed like they had been drinking for quite awhile. JK tapped out and will be happy to see this gorgeous artwork tomorrow morning. :)

After work today, I got home and was lucky enough to be greeted by my parents! They landed this morning and got dropped off at my house. They brought me all sorts of goodies including Mom's Beef Stew, beef jerky, and homemade won tons! Gotta love when the parents visit! :)
We went for a yummy sushi dinner and followed dinner up with a visit to Trader Joe's and Ralphs for some groceries. The Woodbury Ralph's has these new grocery baskets....goofy looking!

Nothing exciting today at all.
Early AM meeting with the team. First time presenting in front of a large group at work. Not too bad since it was just a small group. Hooray for breakfast burritos though!
