Nothing exciting today.

wowowowowowow my computer can record and edit videos! This is the premiere of piggy's musical debut..too funny!

Lounged around today, grocery shopped and had coffee & convo with Ken...twas a good day :)

Sigh...after the upsets, I am not too far into the lead. Still #1 though!!! :)

Woke up and had some ramen for lunch. Gloomy weather today, weird since it was so nice yesterday. Grocery shopping, March Madness, and a delicious sushi dinner. What a great Sunday. :)

Another gorgeous day! Pig and I woke up early and went to have brunch as Las Brisas in Laguna Beach. We got there at 10:40am. Brunch ended at 10! We could only eyeball and smell the deliciousness. :( Instead, we settled for mimosas and appetizers on their patio. Still got to enjoy the scenery and bask in the sunshine. Note to self: must wake up EARLIER next time to try the brunch!!
To further enjoy the beautiful day, we deposited more money into the meter and walked around the beach and the stores around the area.

After finishing up the March Madness games for today (wtf Pitt?!?!), we all headed out to enjoy the sun. We wanted to try something new, so we decided to give J.T. Schmid's a try. After a few beers and some yummy appetizers (sweet potato fries, mac n cheese, and hot artichoke dip?!?), we shopped around for a bit and finished up with some Pinkberry! Delish!
Yay for productive Saturdays!

Post #86 - Bright, Sunshiney Daaaay...

Today was a good day...besides the fact that I woke up with a big ear ache. :( I woke up, had some lunch, went to the mall to return a shirt, but ended up leaving with three items. I think I have a shopping problem.

It was a gorgeous day today, so I went to Laguna Beach to meet up with John for an afternoon drink. Mojitos and hot artichoke and crab dip, overlooking the beach? It can't get nicer than this...

Post #85 - Hugs, not Drugs

Kind of gross, but today I went to get a drug test for a pending job. Yup, I peed in a cup.

Collin was in town and met us up for dinner. 7 course beef in Westminster. Yummmmm.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIKO!

The new Street Fighter is awesome!

Twilight. No where even CLOSE to being as good as the book!!

Pretty intense night last night. Thank you Amy for everything :)

Still managed to make it to the Carlsbad Outlets on the way home. Rubys for lunch...delish milkshakes all around! Yummm Bacon Cheeseburger...

HAPPY 25th NIKO!!

We woke up bright and early at 730am surprisingly, grabbed some caffeine, and started the journey to San Diego for Niko's birthday weekend! Since Thursday was pretty rough,  Friday night was a chill-lets-go-to-sleep-at-11pm night.

When we got to SD, our hotel wasn't ready yet. They told us theyd call us in 20 minutes to let us know when it'd be ready. To kill some time, we had brunch at Zanzibar, a few (or more) drinks at Mission Beach, and got back to the hotel around 5. Roamed around the rooftop pool, shots in the room, mini naps, and pizza delivery.

Although I was totally not myself that evening, I still had a good time..it's always nice to get away from the norm. Hope you have a great birthday Niko & BK!

check THAT out! #1 (as of today at 6:28pm at least hahaha)

Post #78 - Let the Games Begin!

March Madness begins! With a little help from Pig and JK, here's what I came up with

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN!
Yummy (and fatty) dinner at Memphis Cafe...followed with drinks (lots of them) and DnBs. I ran into one of my friends from Davis there! I guess we are all trying to relieve our younger days.

John told us that since we were all wearing black, we looked like waitresses.

Today Pig blew the dust off his guitar and played some songs for a little while. I forgot how much I love acoustic guitar music.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTINE!

Happy St. Patty's Day! Corned Beef and Apple Crisp Bars (not pictured) for dinner. The Apple things are all made by Nolan from the leftover dough, filling, and toppings.

Post #75 - The New Jungle Juice

Lately the house has been on this Crown thing. Today, there was no more Crown..all that was left was the Kirkland Vodka. We tried making Nolan's special juice with the vodka and turns out it tastes even better than it does with Crown! It's almost like the Jungle Juice I had back in college at Lambda parties hahha.

Doesn't that picture make the boys look like ghosts? Or is that just me?

Today is Vinh's real birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY VINH!

No too much accomplished today. Salmon, broccoli, and orzo (my favorite!) for dinner. Portions look small, but don't worry, I ate almost double if not triple of the pictured amount.

Post #73- And So It Continues..

"Nordstrom Rack's got the deals!"- Pig
Today was a sad day. I returned my Chloe Paddington. As much as I loved that bag, it was SO heavy that I never used it. EVER. So sadly, it went back today. To make up for the large amount that was credited to my credit card, Pig and I went to the Rack and picked up some goodies!

Vinh's been craving some hot pot really bad, so for his birthday dinner, we all trekked up to San Gabriel for some delicious hot pot. I was never really a fan of hot pot until tonight. DUAL broths- spicy/non spicy and tons and tons of food! Beef, pork, lamb, shrimp, jellyfish, sea cucumber, intestines (aka Poop Shutes), veggies, and Tsing Tao's all around! By the time we got back to the house, I was about ready to pass out. I had a few glasses of wine and called it an early night...still kind in poopoo face mode. However, from the sounds of it, it seems like it was QUITE the night for the birthday boy!

Post #72- Let the Festivities Begin!

I guess it was funny face theme...

Today marked the start of Vinh's 26th Birth-weekend! We started the weekend off with our favorite happy hour at RA. After numerous sake shots and Sapporo Lights, we all headed back to the house where I called it an early night, but the festivities continued and ended pretty early (midnight) considering that we started at 5pm.

Lately I've been in Debbie Downer mood. Mopey and sad. That'd be me. I try my hardest to be positive and see things in the best way possible, but I'm a creature of habit. As much as I love spontaneity, I also like knowing what's going to happen tomorrow. Not having any stability is starting to take a toll on me. I mean shoot...I didn't even want to drink today, I got back from happy hour and curled up in bed watching How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days! Ugh. Need to snap out of it.
