Twas game day again and after a nice long after-work nap, I went over to the boys because, well, that's just what I do on a daily basis.

Talk about bringing it waaaay back. Ali had sent me this picture over the weekend and I thought I'd share it. From our innocent and carefree days.
Since Ali, Bri, and I are all very close in age, we pretty much grew up together. We've always lived a walking distance apart and its so funny to see how we've grown up. They say that family should be your strength, and through all the ups and downs life has thrown at us so far, I've gotta say that I feel like she's been one of the rocks in my life.

My office is fantastic! Since we had a three day weekend ahead of us, we were able to leave the office around 230pm.

Ah yes, the normal Thursday routine. I got home from work, took a power nap (it's the best way to unwind in the shortest amount of time, trust me) and headed over to the boys'. I poured myself a glass of wine, and with the Laker game in the background, proceeded to read the newspaper (Thurs-Sun delivery) and attempted the crossword puzzle.

My parents and I brought some dim sum over to my grandma's house for lunch today. My grandma is 95 years old and everytime I see her, she asks who I am. She's still got her wits, so I think it just means I need to come home to see her home- once every 5 months just isn't cutting it.
