After 12+ years, I finally paid Universal Studios a visit. I haven't been here in AGES. Maya, Aron, B, and I woke up and grabbed some caffeine and breakfast goodies and headed up to Hollywood.

It wasn't too crowded surprisingly- especially for a summer Saturday! We didn't wait longer than 30 minutes for rides. Can you believe they took down ET and Back to the Future?! I suppose kids these days won't really know what they are, but still...those are the rides I distinctly remember from my last visit. We took the studio tram tour of course and sadly, the King Kong portion of it burned down in a past fire! So sad...all the classic points of Universal Studios are no longer there.

It was pretty cool to see the sets of some famous movies/shows though-Wisteria Lane anyone?
We stayed til about 10pm, when the park was about to close- we seriously didn't expect it to be THAT much fun. Whowouldvethunk?

Late night Japanese tapas at FuraiBo (YUM) and back to the OC by 12:30. KOed with the quickness. What a great Saturday! :)
